Almost all laptops have built-in ethernet adapter. To check on that : Start> control panel> system> hardware > device manager > Network Adapters.
If you are not sure of the adapters that you can find in the network adapters category, better call your PC OEM

Your laptop should alread have an ethernet port built in and a wireless access card built in. Check your users manual. Without any more information on your type of laptop, we can't help you more than that.

your laptop should have a ethernet init try looking on the side of the laptop if your laptop is really old then put one in if its not old it has one in there

u need to install the drivers,,, thats it,,
go to device manager,, and try to find if ur ehter net card is not installed,, or if ther is something wrong with it,,,
on the ehternet link,, right clickk and up date the drivers,,
this shud solve ur probs,,
