It doesn't predict anything. It describes an event that may or may not have happened.
It doesn't mention lights, motors, work being done, wire, generators, insulation, electric shocks, electric burns, transmission of power, or anything else. Saying this description of a fountain of molten copper predicts electricity is like saying that the Trevi Fountain in Rome predicted nuclear submarines.

Does it really matter? Predictions are just that, predictions. They can go either way. Are you reading the Qu'ran just to try and bash Islam? If you're a Christian, I think that reading and studying any other religion is taboo. If you have questions about the Qu'ran, then go ask someone who has studied the book and knows what it means.
All this question is doing is enticing hate and mean comments.

No, it doesn't support crap. It just sounds like a fountain out of copper.
Like everything in any religious book, it is open to interpretation. The Muslims are wrong, but they aren't going to listen to a non-Muslim, American woman.

Why don't you stop the Islam bashing and spam, your ignorance is unbecoming.
Muhammad (s) didn't write the Qur'an and if you understood anything about arabic/english translations you'd be like OK IM STUPID.
But instead we just point and laugh at you alone :(
