The revealed books are the sources of information about God, Afterlife and everything that is related to religion. Since you guys (atheists) do not believe in God, you would believe in His book either.

So where do you think you will find the answer that God exists? By your own observation and reasoning? Or you will not find the answer until you die and find out for yourself? Because at that time it might be too late, no way out from Eternal Hell. Don't you want to find the answer before your death?

If god exists there will be other ways of finding him than through those books.
His existence should be something we can using logic and reason. but all evidence points the other way.

I don't know about other non-believers, but I'm not trying to figure out if god exists or not, I just live my life day after day without any worries or regrets. If for some reason, when I die, I am face to face with a god, then yes, I will then know that it was true what was being told to me during my life on earth. But then again, you that believes in god, let me ask you this. How do you know for certain that there indeed is a god? What if when you die, you see nothing, no god, no heaven, no hell, what then? Would you feel like you lived a life that was deprived? A life that you said, "I better not do what I enjoy because god looks down on it"? A life that pissed off so many because you tried to shove your beliefs down their throats? I think that if you believe in a god, then good for you. Now why don't you just let people live their lives how they want. I know you religious folks try to spread your gods "words" because he told you to do so, not directly, you were told by your man-written bible. I know that deep down, you guys can care less about the other person, you're just told to care, when you really don't. So, if us non-believers DO come face to face with a god, then we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. In the meantime, try to figure out what you'll say or do when you find out that there is no god.

First you need to realize there's MILLIONS of people who do NOT believe the Bible to be true. And you also need to realize there are many other religions in the world. How can you say your's is right and their's is wrong ? And there have been many gods, and goddess. The Bible was written by men to control the minds, lives, and body of the people of that time. And it's still being used for that purpose. There are no talking snakes or 900 year old men. The earth isn't flat, nor are we the center of the universe. Wake up and think for yourself !

I am not religious and I'm not an atheist. With that said: I think atheist have thought about God more than religions people. For the most part the religious have accepted their parents view or fallen onto the path which creates the least fear. I noticed you played the hell trump card. Not a good idea with atheist.

I've found the answer before my death. My answer is that God does not exist. Revealed books aren't sources of information about God; just that man believes in a god. You make it sound like all atheists are ignorant of common knowledge. We're not. We're atheists for a reason.

Theists have no proof that their books come from any god, that that god even exists. Anybody can hallicunate and write a book and say that a god told them what to write. Look at the word & sentence construction of those books and they have human origin all over them. When you & I die, that's it. Zilch. No afterlife! Like a candle gone out in the wind!

It may be that your question in serious, but your reasoning is a bit flawed. You are operating from an a priori assumption that God exists, and theat the "revealed books" actually say something about him. Atheists believe that there is no god. They believe that there is no hell.

The difficulty is that God is the ground of your being. You cannot entertain the notion that there is no such entity. This prevents you from forming any truly logical arguments.

First off, if you are going to email someone with a comment about an answer they had to an earlier question of your, at least make it possible for them to write you back. You wrote me and I tried to write you back and it told me you havent verified you email so it didnt go through. Which shows me you are not interested in hearing the answers, just spitting out your beliefs.

Ok to your question.
It all comes down to proof. You come here and stae your beliefs as fact, with only the word of your Holy Book to back up your "facts". Atheistsneed proof. Real solid, hold it in my hand, see it with my own eyes proof. Somthing backed by multiple tests that can be repeated and reproduced to get the same results mutiple times. Thqt is the proof we need. Not just "because the good book says so"

I am a Christian and I can tell you that no ateist wants scare tactics or what if's used in an argument for God. They are the doubting thomases that need tangible proof of God's existance. I think a better question is what miracle would God have to perform for you to believe beyond doubt and why?

Pascal's Wager again! (Go to wikipedia.com and look it up, this argument is older than the President's mother.)

Since I am convinced there is no such thing as a god or gods, there's no question in my mind. Therefore I won't be wasting any time searching for an answer.

Yes, I know there's a chance I could be wrong. So what? If your god doesn't want me because I didn't believe in it, then the feeling is mutual -- I want nothing to do with any being that only wants to be worshipped.
