hello, is it really weird or not right to go up to a lady on the street and say hello and get to know her instead of a bar? whats the best way to meet ladies in this day of age? its hard to meet a lady on the street, they could be married, lesbian..we will never know..is meeting online ok? thanks for your answers

Online is OK I guess (it depends on where you live and what kind of person you're looking for, and what your credentials are; personally I don't use it and I don't know anyone who has succeeded with it). But really, the best way to meet people is to get out of the house. Take a class, volunteer, do ANYTHING to meet people. If you don't know how to start conversation, ask an open-ended question. And it is hard to meet women no matter where you go. You will find that your success rate will be like 1 in 10 for finding women worth dating (maybe worse, depending on where you look). That is, 1 in 10 women you meet will like you and be liked by you. You might get working phone numbers from women who actually want to talk to you only 1/3 of the time. This is true most of the time unless you're some kind of celebrity. So you have a lot of work ahead of you. Good luck!

it is kinda weird to meet on the street, unless its totally casual. Obviously, the best place to meet is at a bar, during the summer, probably the beach. Things like that. And NO, meeting online is NOT good. You could be talkign to an old lady, a pervert, or a 12 year old. ( i know some of this from personal experience!) O, and the best time to find singles is at night in a crowded area (city, or movie theatre)

On the street? Usually the problem is that you are walking in opposite directions, and do not have the time to chat.

If someone seems to like your looks, give her a card or slip of paper with your phone number.

Waiting in line at groceries or libraries is better. Even the doctor's waiting room..

I think the Internet (dating services) is the WORST way to find someone, and more expensive than traditional ways. They just suck lonely people out of their money.
