Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and lasik surgery in India by a company called Forerunners Healthcare. The Price for dental and lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.
They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

It varies greatly in price. I have seen from $800 to $2K per eye. I would choose wisely, not using price as the final determinant. I have looked into it myself. The best info I have found is asking others who have gotten the surgery. Personally I have been waiting for years and it seems every couple of years the procedure is perfected a little bit. My optometrist told me since I had such good vision with contacts/glasses that I should not pursue the surgery if I was happy with my vision.
Good luck with your decision, either way. The surgery itself is quick with minimal recovery time. A lot has changed since the old procedure that required cutting. Much less complicated now.

It's best that you schedule a consultation with a laser surgeon so you can ask about your concerns and pricing, also you have to be a candidate for it, not just anyone can get laser surgery because of possible conditions and complications.

i'd figure around a thousand to fifteen hundred per eye. i had RK back 'in the day'. they don't even do RK anymore.

would never go back to life before RK. my vision now is about 20/40 in both eyes uncorrected.

i need glasses for reading, but that's because i'm pushing 50.

a lot of the eye surgeons will have seminars on the newest procedures--go to one of the seminars and ask lots of questions.

if your vision is very bad, you'll be amazed at the difference the surgery will make.

It's expensive that's for sure. I would wait a few years until they perfect the surgery.

it is not painful and it truly is totally speedy. it truly is an enduring substitute, some people will require an enhancement contained in the 1st year yet this is many times of no value. you will desire examining glasses once you become previous (40 5+) as this is inevitable for each individual as this is a age appropriate lens rely, LASIK is on your cornea. it truly is truly actual worth the money!

It's $1,500 dollars per eye. They numb your eye first. It's not bad.
