Throw their babies in the trash? When I was younger, it seemed like every time I turned on the news I heard about it....it was especially common amongst young teens still in school. Thankfully, I hardly ever hear anything about it now. Although sometimes, I do hear about babies being left places where they are sure to be found...like in front of a hospital or some place like that. I always felt, and still do feel, very sad when I hear things like that. I just wonder, why, when there were so many other things you could do for the baby, would you throw it in the trash? It's easy to say, if you don't want babies, don't have sex; however, what's done is done, and no sense dwelling on that. I understand the fear, I just wonder, what other options a young mother has, when she's had the baby, doesn't want it, but has a fear of being discovered? Adoption agencies don't ask questions do they? Neither do churches right?

It still happens. Just not as often, thank goodness. The ones that do are scared and alone. They don't often have the best information. They can be prosecuted. Most states have laws now that you can leave the child in a safe place, like a hospital or something and everything will be OK.

Saddly, babies are still thrown away in the trash. There are many that are never discovered. Hospitals offer a program that accepts infants. They want information from the mother for her own protection. They want to make sure that she's alright, and she has the right to reclaim her baby within a certain period of time if she changes her mind.

yes they do and it does not have to be a teenager that does it is had been known for adult women to do this people panic and do things they would not normally do i know someone who buried they re baby and it was terrible the baby was small and the women cracked the police got involved found the baby and arrested her she was not prosecuted because of her mental state the baby would not of survived but the woman has to live with this for the rest of her life she got arrested twice as she lied the first time people s state of the mind at the time is not good they are not thinking rationally and panic a teenager would probably think they would get into trouble i can understand that but don't understand how a grown women could do that

actually adoption agencies have to know who the mother and father is, and get a release from both to allow the baby to be adopted.

Churches have to merley turn the baby over to the police

In many states you can merely abandon the child at a fire station or a hospitial.

But the medical profession has come up with abortion which is basicly a medical trash compactor for babies.

I've never heard of a younger teenage girl doing that but there was a woman in this town not too long ago she was in her late 30's who had a baby and didnt want to tell the guy she worked with she was pregnant so she buried it in a trash can...and supposibly named it before she buried it...people are sick...i dont think its just teenage girls...but that would be more justifing to know that girls were just uneducated but when its grown azz woman doing it..its ridicolous specially when they already have children!

There's a law, can't remember the name of it, it's named after a baby, where a woman, or girl, can a drop a baby off at a hospital, police station, fire station.... no questions asked. They can not ask her name or any info about her. They made this law to keep things like that from happening.

Now there is a law that a mother will not be persecuted if she HANDS her baby to someone at a hospital or a firestation. Churches no longer work. Girls who leave their babies places can still be charged if caught.

NO AND I DONT THINK IT THE PERSON I THINK THINK ITS THEM LIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF PEOPLE WHO TRY TO FIND THE EASY WAY OUT
BUT TRASHING A BABY OR ABORTION IS MURDER ONE IS ATTEMPTING MURDER AND THE OTHER ONE IS

SOCIETY TODAY IS SO MESSED UP AND EITHER U BE SMART AND DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES U ENCOUNTER OR FALL VICTIM TO STUPIDITY ON YOUR BEHALF
BUT ME I STAND STRONGLY AGAINST JUDGING BECAUSE SOME ARENT FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO HAVE FAMILY WILLING TO HELP OR EVEN TRY TO UNDERSTAND
SOME HAVE BEEN CALLED AILURES ALL THIER LIVES AND AND PANIC AT THE SITE OF BEING CONSIDERED AN EVEN BIGGER FAILURE
BUT THIS IS LIFE AND I'D RATHER HAVE MY CHILD AS A SYMBOL OF MY STRENGTH THAN LAY AWAY BECAUSE I COULDNT FIND IT.

GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE THIS INSPIRES SOMEONE
BECAUSE GOD JUDGES NO OF US
AND HE LOVES THE SAME NO MATTER OUR FAULTS AND MISTAKES
WHEN U ARE LIVING IN FEAR HE IS THERE TO PROVIDE COMFORT

HE IS THE ONLY WAY
