My friend and I like to frequent the mall by our town. It has everything, you name it....its one of the biggest in the country. Anyway, theres a adult novelty store right across the street from it, and everytime we go to the mall, she always wants to go to the adult store before we leave the area (FYI, shes not striaght, even though it has nothing to do with it)...and I always end up giving in, because I feel I have no choice.
Its not that Im prude, its just that...the merchandise dosent really change, we usually spend WAY more time in there than needed (like an hour!), she mostly looks at the female toys (nothing eles), she never ends up buying anything, she pressures me into buying stuff (and i dont), and some of the guys that shop there are kinda creepy.
I dont wanna stop going to the mall, but I dont wanna go to that place. Once in a blue moon is fine, for giggles and whatever, but, its just rediculous!

OK,I'd just tell her to go ahead and go without u and get a smothie or something some where eles and she might change her mind about that "store". if she dosen't email me!!!!

Tell her you chose not to go there. You have a right not to go just as she has a right to go. Perhaps you could even offer to let her go in there while you look somewhere else for a set amount of time.

I would lay the ground work before you go shopping with your friend. Just tell her that you love spending time with her but you just don't enjoy going to that store. Tell her that you respect her choices in her life but that you would like for her to respect your choice not to go to that store.

just let her know that you're not comfortable going in there all the time and if she wants to go that's fine but the next time she wants to go, you will just meet up with her when she gets out...
