I am writing a speech, and in it i would like to use the quote, "if you want something to happen, you have to make it happen." I would like to quote the philosopher who said it....except i have no idea who it is....can anybody help me? It is a speech to run for class president so if you have any other good quotes that i could use or if you kno the name of the philosopher who said that quote stated about that would most appreciated! thanks!

The closest I could find was this:

Robert Collier said this "If you don't make things happen then things will happen to you"

I don't think it is necessary to credit whomever with saying this, if they did. You can paraphrase in your own words to get the point across. Good luck in the election, luv.
