I have an 11 year old with ADHD and even though I had my suspicions when he was younger, He couldn't be properly tested until he was 4. You may want to bring your concerns up to your pediatrician and get his/her views...But I do know he cannot officially be diagnosed until almost 4.

At 2 yrs old a child is far too young to be diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. Most doctors won't even test a child who is under the age of 5.

I think 2 years old is way too early to be diagnosed with ADD even if the child does have it. My 2 year old never stops for a second. I think it's just the age.

I've studied ADD/ADHD for years. There's NO WAY to diagnose it at that age. Generally 6 at the earliest.
Keep in mind, ADD/ADHD is being looked at differently now-days. Read about the "Edison Trait" - more recent research indicates this is a gift to be used, not a problem to be solved.
And if you ask me - EVERY 2 yo is ADD. Mine certainly were! My wife says "I'm the mayor of crazy-town."

I'll bet that all two year olds show signs of add!!! They are hyper, active and in to everything. This is what they do.
There are tests that can be given to determine add. Don't put your toddler on drugs! There are way too many kids on drugs today, just because they are being kids!

Love your name! That is my daughters name.
Oh sorry, ADD, I doubt that this is the problem. 2 year olds are just into EVERYTHING, ALL the time. That is why they call it the terrible two's. Unfortunatly, the 3's are just as bad. But it will get better. I promise. Then they turn into... teenagers!

I think its way too early to tell if a two year old has ADD however you can speak with your childs doctor and they do have different test that they give them to let you know if they are autistic or ect.
Good Luck

My son is 7 and adhd however his doctor wouldn't even consider testing for it until he was at least 4. At 2 they are just natuarly curious and although it can be frustrating it is normal.

ADD and ADHD are very similar. Both may include trouble concentrating and hyperactivity. The best thing is to consult a doctor and not to diagnos yourself.
