I am a relatively good-looking girl (people tell me so anyway), I have a good sense of humor and a nice personality, but I am a little shy and too quiet.
So why is it that only very nerdy guys like me?

What makes you think these guys are 'nerdy' in the first place. It's way too common for people to have a mental picture in their head of who should be their significant other. Doing that may help us miss out on someone who could be great for us. Is it more important to have a boyfriend/girlfriend who seems cool to all your friends... or someone who treats you well who makes you feel good about yourself when you're with them? I'd much rather have a 'plain-jane' who's my best friend than a hottie who hasn't got a brain in her head. Maybe the 'nerdy' one could be you? I'd strongly suggest getting to know someone before you label them as 'nerdy'.

I'm sure it feels that way sometimes. Just continue to be yourself and I'm sure you will meet somebody that is a good fit for you. Who knows? Iit could even be one of the "very nerdy guys." As for the shy and quiet thing, some guys find that attractive. Just make sure you combine it with a nice smile.

i know i'm not a guy, but i am the EXACT same way, except i seem to attract thugs and losers. no one can really answer that question. i will say this, though. guys that seem nerdy are really the sweetest, most genuine men you'll meet. trust me, i missed out on a good one cause i thought he was too nerdy. turns out, he treated me better than any other guys, and we weren't even officially an item. just be patient, and the right one will come along, and you'll even love his nerdiness :-)

Might be because you are so shy and quiet. The nerdy guys might feel that makes it easier to approach you. If you were more outgoing and easier to notice than more popular and exciting guy might start paying attention.

Because you're just hanging around the campus?
Take a break and go to mall/plaza for a change. Even if you don't get some people's attention, you can still have some fun there.

I don't think other kinds of guys are getting the chance to know you, You have the characteristics every guy is looking for so just let others see it. You're definitely the kind of girl i'm looking for but cant find!

The other guys think you are ignoring them or playing hard to get, or that you are snobby. My daughter is like you. to the max (shy, etc.). Don't worry you'll grow out of it, and we nerds still love ya anyway. lol. (What's wrong with a nerd, eh?) Be patient with yourself, ok.
