I take a very strong multi vitamin intended for active men twice a day. I swear by this vitamin, but will avoid naming it for the sake of sounding like an advertiser. The vitamin has very large amounts of certain vitamins well above the RDA. While I am no professional athelete, I do lift weights and run about 4 to 5 times a week. I can honestly say that, since starting this vitamin, I feel my life, health, energy, etc have drastically improved. You need to take into consideration that the RDA is an allowance for the average person (whatever that may be). Additionally, if you are active, you sweat out much more of a multi vitamin then someone who is inactive. Unfortunately, I do not know what this vitamin may be doing to me on the inside. I have to trust the way I feel and trust the research that went into making this vitamin.

Vitamins are a waste of money. You are taking WAY too much. It say that on the label. Some of the vitamins are 200-1,000% OVER the recommended daily allowance.

They can damage your liver and kidneys.

Possibly, but you'd probably have to take a **** load of vitamins at once to get sick from them.
