use mint essence and fine sugar mixed together with a little glycerine I did it in baby school you can also use green colouring and melt chocolate over them if you wish there are to quote the donkey in Shrek they are "Minty Fresh" have a go with the kids they will love it

buy ready to roll icing in tesco,peppermint flavouring,put few drops in icing,shape icing(balls,discs,etc)you can add food colouring to give your tongue a new shade
