They lie all the time and don't even realize most of the time.

If the stuff everyone sees her doing is bad, then of course she'll lie to get out of trouble. If someone just lies, though, about stupid things like reading the dictionary twice, then, that might be a compulisve liar.

Ask him a different question every hour on the hour one day. If he lies 8 out of 10 times, he is a liar! Also, if you ask him if your butt is big, and he says, "NO!", he is a liar!

I had a very close cousin that used to lie about everything, and I would catch her on the spot. She would deny it...........When you get older, you will make sure you hang with the right people that will admit they are the real thing.

I think if they lie for no reason they are compulsive. Lying to hide bad behavior may not be...I'm not sure.

Be upfront and call her on it. It is an illness and many people have it. Tell her you won't tolerate it, she doesn't need to lie to you about anything.
