I like this girl in one of my classes. I'm not sure if she likes me the same way i like her though. I've known her since last school year. one of my friends told me she had asked him if i was single one day, then the next day another friend told me a friend of the girl i like was going to give me the girls phone number( i never got it). So unsure on her feelings i wrote her a casual note asking y she had looked sad one day and i also slipped a ? asking for her phone number, i also gave her mine. the next time i saw her she told me she would write me back. that was 2 days ago, still hasn't wrote. she almost always talks to me and smiles at me just about everytime i talk to her. I'm confused on how she feels, i don't want to jump the gun and flat out ask her out, or bluntly ask for her number. Is she testing me or something, help plz cause i'm lost on what to do next, and this school year is my last chance. advice plz.

Ummm . . . I don't think you have much of a chance with this one. You took the wrong approach to begin with, but if she was interested she would have responded anyway. Instead of passing notes, you should have gone right up to her and started chatting with her. After chatting for a few minutes, you should have asked for her number. Then, a few days after that, you should have tried to make a date. I think if she liked you and got the note, she would have immediately given you her digits. However, you say she talks to you, so just keep talking to her. You can ask her out if you wish (just follow the procedure above). Even if it's jumping the gun, I don't think you have anything to lose. Just remember that she probably will not give you a straight answer if she does not like you. Most girls make up some excuse about "being friends" or just avoid you instead of telling you the truth. They just cannot bear the guilt of hurting someone. Remember: rejection is a time- and money-saver that culls out girls that do not like you! You may get rejected many times before you find a girl worth dating (who likes you and who you like), so be patient. Good luck!
