I have a tatt that I got about 7 years ago. It is a parrot for Jimmy Buffett. Love his music. It is on my shoulder and I have NEVER regretted it. Make sure you get a good/CLEAN tattoo artist. Lyrics may not be a great idea. Words in tatts seem to look a little ... well.. strange after awhile. Need to add something....IF YOU ARE YOUNG please wait. I waited a long time to get mine. And YES the other people are right. Put it where only you and your loved one can enjoy it. People have very strange and judgmental opinions about tattoos.

Yes, don't do it. I'm guessing you're about 18 - I promise you will regret having it done. Tattoos generally look awful on girls anyway - but imagine when you're older. Just be passionate about the band, you will be into more bands as you grow up.
I am 28 now, I wanted a Nirvana tattoo when I was 18. Boy, am I glad I didn't as I would look an idiot now.
Just don't.
Imagine when you're getting married etc.........

I got a Michael Jackson tattoo on my arm some years back. I regret that decision every day. People point and laugh at me and I am not allowed within 100 feet of a daycare center.
No, seriously. Tats are for life. So, draw it on yourself with a marker and redo it every day for six months. See if you still want if after that. If you stopped at any point, or got tired of it, don't get it. Think it out. It is there for life.
If you do get it, get it somewhere that it will be easily covered up by clothing. People look at you differently, and, like it or not, it will affect your life negatively if people see a tattoo.

Even if you come to a point in your life wehre you no longer like that band, the tat would still represent that time period in your life. SO, if you're in a time of your life you want to remember, go for it. There is always the potential of regret with every tattoo, that's why not everyone has one. Are you capable of a lifetime commitment ;)

DON"T DO IT! That band can break up TODAY! Then what? If you want a tattoo do something that means the world to you and won't change. No lovers names, team names, band names or movie stars.

I would be careful in getting the tattoo; although you may like the band now, what about when your 80? I nearly did the same, but changed my mind. Although I still enjoy the band, I don't feel the need to express it on my skin.
Either way, the decision is yours. :)

I almost got the Pokinatcha Punk from MXPX tatoo, but then they came out with Before, Everything, and After, which was the worst CD ever. And I almost got a Breaking Benjamin tatoo, but their third cd wasn't very good. Luckily I didn't get them.

Yeah, you shouldn't get one, it is a very bad idea, people will see you differently after that, I'd never do it if I were you, and I'm sure you won't like it later, I've known people who hated it after the fact and couldn't do a thing about it. It is also considered vulgar you know?
