dont people ever get sick of blonde?? i mean to me it has become such a fake hair color. i no longer think its pretty. its so boring and now adays it seems like thats the only hair color people have. doesnt it seem so barbie like?? i used to hate my hair color (dark brown almost black) until i realized that not a lot of people have the same hair color as me and now i love it and wouldnt change it for the world. i guess im just sick of watching people drool over blonde haired blue eyed girls. i mean why are blondes considered prettier then other hair colors?

As someone stated before society esp. the media, puts blondes at the top of the food chain. It just proves the power of the media. This is pretty much the same mechanism at work when it comes to women's body image issues; there is supposedly an ideal and if you don't fit it then you are not attractive. As a woman who is not blonde and doesn't fit into any of the supposed 'ideals' of beauty developed by the media, I can say that you have to understand what makes you attractive and unique, focus on those those aspects and enjoy being you.

I have many Barbies that are blond as well as various other colors. Though blond Barbies are my preference, I do not place that upon real females. It matters not what color is the hair whether it be brown, blond, black, or red. That does not tell me who you really are inside. That is where it counts the most for me.

I am a natural blonde. My guess is that men don't actually prefer blonds. Blonde hair just attracts (initial) attention because light reflects from it and it is more eyecatching. Because of that, more heads just naturally turn to a blond (whether shes attractive or not) and thus, the belief that men prefer blonds was born!

Its all about superiority. Its just a way of saying that if you're not blonde you don't belong.People dye their hair blonde to be accepted or following the crowd. It's sad
