Im using a non-stick pan and I put in some olive oil and heat it up...as soon as I crack the egg and put it in, the edges get brown and the egg forms bubbles on it and it sticks to the surface.

I can make it perfect when I use cooking spray but im all out.

So what is the proper way to fry an egg with cooking oil?

Vic's Cloudy Eggs:

This is a variation of Sunny-Side Up Eggs that works perfect for me.

Crack an egg into a lightly oiled pan. Add a dash of Salt and a dash of pepper.

Cover the egg with a clear glass lid and turn the heat on to MEDIUM.

Let the egg cook and steam until the top is an even white color.

No crispy edges and done perfect everytime.

Like Kelly and Uncle Billy said, your oil is too hot. You can almost start out with cold oil. The egg won't absorb the oil like other food does when the grease is not hot. That is how restaurants have those evenly cooked eggs.

The heat evaporates some water vapor in the egg white and it escapes as gas at the surface. It gets cooked around the bubbles preserving the shape where they escaped.
