I got a job 3 months ago and met a colleague who is very good looking, mature and interesting. He has been flirting with me ever since and so I sort of started to have feelings for him too. Last week we went to a party and he was there with a gf. Now I don't know details but they seem to have been together for a long time but apparently she lives somewhere else. At the party, he came and hit on me while she wasn't around, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Then on Monday he was trying to act as if nothing had happened but I stopped the flirting and I think he got the message because he's been trying to get my attention in every way. How do you think I should behave around this guy?! And what do you think his intentions are?!? Please help me I'm so confused.

It's clear that this guy is a player. He knows that he can get by on his good looks and charm to get any girl he wants, but if he has a girlfriend, then STAY AWAY. You don't want to get involved in their relationship, and you don't want to be in a relationship with this guy. If he'll do this to her with you, then what's not to say that if you and he got together, he'd hit on the next woman he finds hot while he's still dating you? Just ignore him. If he's the kind of guy I think he is, he'll get annoyed of you ignoring him and move on to hit on someone else. Good luck!
And by the way, even though he may come off as mature, any guy who acts like this is extremely immature.

Honey, I know what his intentions are... You need to keep it all business with this guy. He's looking to break your heart and his girlfriend's too!! If he continues to act as if nothing is wrong with his behavior You let him know how he made you feel, and that you are not going to be a toy for him to use and discard.

I think this person is a player... if he has a gf and is flirting with you he obviously has no ability to commit to one person.....
Anyone who hits on someone else at a party when his gf is not around is a idiot....
This guy will do it to anyone he is with.... he is bad news.....
When he is around be polite but get on with your work.. If he persists, tell him you are not interested... and leave it at that...
You deserve a person's full attention not his leftovers......

I am really against going with, any one on the job, so just have fun with him, and leave it at that. What is wrong with having friends, why do every one have to go to bed with each other? Remember he is a man,and you know what he wants, but just because he wants it, does not mean he has earned it. (smile) So do not be confused, have fun!

Tell him he is a jerk and you're not interested in a guy that cheats (even emotional cheating) on his girlfriend. Tell him to go find another victim.
Hope you find a nice unattached guy. You deserve full honest attention and adoration!

Be professional and ignore any flirting from this creep. He just wanted to do you on the side, use you and cheat on his girlfriend.
