It can be very expensive especially if lasers are used...Depending on your tattoo, you may need anywhere from 1-10 sessions, each costing in the range of $250-$850 per session. Then it will usually leave a white spot on you where the tattoo was. I had some on my knuckles which I took off using a method called dermabrasion using regular table salt, and it cost me about .50 cents. I had to redo it several times for it to be totally removed, and then it still leaves a white mark which I can see. Others can't see it till I point it out.

I'm guessing around $2250. Most tattoos are gone in from 4 to 10 treatments with modern laser equipment and the usual charge is around $50 per square inch of tattoo ink per treatment for removal.

It will be in the Thousands. You will need many treatments with a Dermatologist and it is very painful. Any chance you get something else tattooed over it? It will never be 100% gone and it can leave scarring.
