TAH-zoh is what I've always heard. With any word that isn't a commonly-known word, pronouce it 'most any way you want to but with confidence and at least half your listeners will think "Oh! So THAT'S how it's said!"

I'm from Texas - and we pronouce it Tay-zo - with the long "A" sound.
