has anybody ever had this happen and know what it is??

i had my last period on august 28 and 3 weeks later i was spotting with light cramping.. i heard that spotting in a brownish color can be one of the first signs of pregnancy.. and with my self being sexually active i assumed that i may be pregnant so i took a hpt test on september24 and got a negative result.. i still assumed i may be pregnant so when i missed my period i retested on october 3 and once again got a negative result.. and then today october 8 i once again began spotting and again it was light brown in color.. doe anyone know what this may mean...

Spotting can happen during pregnancy, but it can also mean other things (like some hormone levels being low). I think you're right to retest for pregnancy, but it might also be good to check in with a doctor about the spotting, whether or not you're pregnant.

Have you gotten your period since August? If you haven't, go see a doctor. You may just have really low hormonal levels. Get a blood test.

If you still haven't gotten your period take one more test. My girlfriends & I always use EPT, we have very cute kids :) Its a good test, if it still comes up negative go to the doctor and have them do one. If they do another urine test and it comes up negative tell them you haven't had a period since Aug and you have taken 3 urine tests & you want them to do a blood test. When my mother was pregnant with my little brother the docs urine test kept coming up negative for about 2mos then he did the blood test, he did the urine test again at 7mos pregnant and it still said negative.

This could be that you just didnt ovulate that month it happened to me a couple months ago. talk to your doctor if you dont get your next period but other wise i would worry about being pregnant.
