Now I'm not talking about mistakes and misspellings, Just the use of numbers and letters in place of actual words.It's dumber than cow shite!

Do the people type as if they're morons, or are you a moron due to your lack of understanding what is being typed and why it is being typed in that manner. The use of numbers &/or letters in the place of actual words is all about saving time as you type. It has absolutely nothing to do with someone's level of intelligence. So, obviously no, I do not concur..

As a reasonably comfortable typist, I think it's actually more time consuming to try to find ways of abbreviating...
It's just a fad, a new way of doing something for the sole purpose of setting one's self apart from others... And very tacky! Do it when you email your friends, but not when thousands of people will have to look at it! Kinda like picking your wedgies.

Many people type using abbreviations like U and 2moro as this is the modern way of writing now, mostly through text messages. i imagine someone said exactly the same thing when people decided to abbreviate excetera to etc and example to e.g.

not all people are typing on a computer here, some are on cell phones or other portable media machines and browsing the web.. for those it is very hard and tedius to type out full words.

They are probably very young and just using this as another form of self expression, and then there are probably some that are just plain illiterate. And they are doing the best they can. God Bless.

Believe or not, these people think they are spelling correctly. and there is no E at the end of cow s$$$. Bless your heart....

well its easier than typing the whole word...now days SOME people are lazy so they use letters and numbers.....this is especially true for teenagers....

It depends..... abbreviating some words is fine but some people overdo it and that's just annoying :-/
