So times I get these stinging pains in my toes. I have taken my shoe off and looked to see if I have been bit by an insect. I have had the same feeling in my knee and other places, but mostly the feet.

Does anyone know what causes them?

I used to get this, the doctor said it was my shoes (wearing heels the blood goes to the toes too much) I still wear heels but now i know why my toes tingle. It can be very painfull sometimes like stabbing, when you can raise your legs higher than your heart (not in public though)
I also get this with trainers, its to do with the circulation being trapped, but dont quote me on this, its only what the doctor told me. I have never had it in my knees or anywhere else but it does sound like bad circulation, try massaging them gently
