One cause were dumb at some point in life and two because were desperate.Maybe some girls fall for the bad guys because she wants to get some other guys attention.Ive never had an relationship with a bad guy.I have friends that have there own little problems with bad guyes,and usually they just want the sex and the attention.But when they get deeper and deeper into the relationship they realize they want out.And maybe cause there are no good guys left in her life.And usually that girl might be have had bad experinec before and she can only see that the only guys left for her future are the ones she has to pick up after.
I really hopes this makes things a little clearer.

Women tend to pick a mate that is like their father. For other women it's just low self esteem. Some 'bad' guys are actually great guys to their women and 'bad guys' to everyone else. It's really based on the situation.

It's the unknown women like. it is what attracts women. I've been in relationships with the "bad" and the "good". Sometimes the good are too good too sweet they cater to your every need. at first its fun but it becomes too much. The bad are only fun for a short time. Most women wise up after a period of time and realize the bad are not good for them. And they chose someone who will treat them right!

I can't speak for all women but as for me it tends to freak me out a little when a guy is really nice. When you are used to being treated in a bad way that's what you expect in all guys. If a guy is rotten up front I sometimes fell safer because my expectations are lower and I think that there is less of a chance for him to hurt me.I know it sounds crazy but dating jerks can be like a self protection type of thing.

This is coming from a cute girl, not an ugly chick (by society's standards), and I say this because someone once said to me that only ugly girls like nice guys.
Every once in a while (if I'm single) I'll have a fling with a bad *** just for fun and not get attatched.
When I want the real thing, you better believe I go for a nice guy and appreciate what I have.

They just haven't realized how stupid they are for going after the "bad" guys yet. In reality... these guys won't provide the girl with what she wants. Eventually she'll wake up when she is older and realize all the good guys were taken by the smart girls and become bitter.

i have asked this question many times.....maybe because the bad boy image is mysterious or kewl....or maybe the women dont care.....or maybe because "good guys" appear boring and unattractive and appear to have nothing to offer....is this the same bad boy image that treats women like garbage and dumps them and when a "good guy" comes along and/or approaches them, they dont give the good guy the time of day due to being burned so badly by the bad boy....it is a vicious cycle.....is there a cure...i dont know....all i know is that i will stand by my principals and not treat women like garbage....and if there are less women in my life coz i dont treat them like dog crap, well then, so be it.....i would rather be with a woman that i treated decently and was good and kind to than one that i treated like garbage....

Because the bad guys are much more exciting. And the idea of taming one is appealing. Used to fall for them big time, but stopped banging my head against the wall eventually.

I am a woman, so I feel I am an expert in this subject. We do that because we are stupid, plain and simple. The "bad" boys seems much more interesting and fun and exciting. I stress the word "seem". It's really not the truth, but that's what it seems like to us.

They are so mysterious. They seem cool. They have no care in the world except their girlfriend. Until they leave her because the bad boy is a troubled type of boy... Every girl falls for atleast one bad boy in their life...
