The clamp will hurt more than the needle. then there will be swelling for a while. Just make sure to follow the instructions for care they give you. Sucking ice chips will help with the swelling afterward. Tongue piercings are one of the faster healing piercings so the first week is the worst. Once you are able get a shorter barbel - that makes things a lot easier.

I used to have 2 tongue rings, neither one really hurt. It was more uncomfortable with the swelling.

I have had it done twice. It doesn't hurt too bad. Take some Motrin before you go this will help with the pain and swelling. Have ice handy for when you get home it will help. Have fun :)

When I got mine pierced it didn't hurt me. biting your tongue hurts more to me. The swelling is what got me mad.....it sucked trying to get food in my mouth when I just got it pierced....because you gotta get used to chewing and swallowing with a tongue ring....other than that....it didn't hurt me that bad.....try eating smoothies...its cold which will help the swelling and theres a straw.

Oh man does it hurt, and when it gets infected, you will lose part of your tongue, like 35% of the the people who get their tongue pierced do.

yes my mom had it done and if they Peirce it throw your vane it will KILL you
