If anyone has any ideas that would be great, he loves the Green Bay Packers, Pheasant Hunting, wining and dining. He's very quiet, so I don't know him very well. And I don't have a lot of money to spend, because I'm not rich!

A HALLMARK CARD

Wealthy people are often very pleased by simple and inexpensive gifts so the fact you don't have a lot of money shouldn't impede your ability to find something suitable. Wealthy people don't need to be impressed, they generally need true friends that like them as people and not because they have money.

That being said, there have been several good responses already. A couple more ideas:

*If you can cook, you and your boyfriend could make a nice meal for him.
*A good book is almost always appreciated.
*A new cookbook (assuming the dad likes to cook and not just dine in restaurants).
*A newspaper from the date of his birth. You can find places on the internet that sell them. Be sure to shop around since they come in various price levels and presentations.
*A Packers jersey or sweatshirt, etc.
*Some hunting supplies such as hand or foot warming packets.
*A DVD of a football movie, even if not the Packers. Remember the Titans and Rudy are two good ones.

I'm sure that no matter what you choose his father will be pleased that you remembered his birthday and ultimately it's the thought that counts.

i've got been with my gf for 8 months now and that i'm very close to to her relatives. Her dad's birthday replaced right into some days in the past and that i did not get him a card yet I did want him a chuffed birthday formerly maximum of his young ones did. i think of popularity is sufficient however a card isn't a bad thought.

My boyfriends family is the same way. Give him a hat or something to chill wine in. If you are short on cash get him a card and maybe his favorite treat. You are the girlfriend and are not expected to get him anything especially if you do not know him very well. Just showing up at the event with your boyfriend is sufficient. Although I would make sure that your boyfriend has something for his dad, or has atleast signed the card you picked out. They know you do not have as much money and will not expect anything larger.

You can get him a mug set or something with the green bay packers on it. There is shops for sports fans. It is not too expensive but a nice gift.

Yeah , a card is good or a CD if you know his taste in music. I mean with those types of things you can't feel like you got him just a cheap Cd as opposed to an expensive one and it is a personal gift for the individual.

well if u have current pics of ur boyfriend u could make him a nice framed collage' of photos of u and his son or just his son and maybe a nice card. once kids get a certian age the girlfriends seem to have the best photos of their loving son so it would be a gift from the heart that might mean alot to him.

you do not have to spend lots of money on a gift it's the thought that counts ; Give him something he is into collecting , or you can offer to cook them a candlelight dinner for him and his wife. It's the little things that count

I think anything thats from the heart... a homemade card...or gift. Maybe even making him dinner with him, you and b-friend. or you could be totally spontaneous and take him and b-friend out to the cheapest burger dump for his birthday and see if that gets him laughing.

I would MAKE him something. Something that you can't buy. Make a scrap book, collect songs about love or that remind you of him. Make him a picnic lunch and take him to a botanical garden. Get him concert tickets. Stuff like that!
