its so hard to open pdf file in my computer how can i do this fast?

i was deleting things i found on this computer once....i did not ever see this place before...so i thought i would free up some space,,,well i think i deleted something that went with the media player...anyway it will not work or can i listen to news videos...i do not think a person should do what i did...it messes up your computer....
