Based on my own experience, they will test your blood levels in a few weeks. Your HCG levels likely were dropping when the baby's heart stopped. We also don't know how high your HCG levels are now. Probably though based on what you've told us, I would say about 6 weeks.
If this is your first miscariage, you should know that 1 out of 5 miscarriages occur in a pregnancy and with only one mc under your belt, the odds are invariably in your favor that your next baby will go to term.
Typically a doctor won't start evaluating you for reasons for miscarriages until after 3 miscarriages, often after 2 if you are nearing 40, insist, or have an infertililty issue.
Most likely, there was something wrong with the fetus and the baby naturally aborted. There are some potential immune issues that can cause losses at this point in the pregnancy but again, most docs won't do the testing for this until after recurrent loss.
What if God's plan was simply that this baby had something wrong and would not have been compatible with life. Just remember the odds in your favor to have a normal pregnancy.
BTW, many women with miscarriges report that they are more fertile in the cycles immediately after their losses.
Indeed, my 5yo was conceived 14 days after a loss/D&C.

I had a MC on Sept.10 at 6 weeks and I had to get a D&C my period actually started Oct.7 so they say it's best to wait at least 1 menstrual cycle before you start trying again. After a MC you should usually expect your period about 4 to 8 weeks later. Sorry for your lost but Good Luck with your futture trying.

I had a mc at about 10 weeks and passed at about 10 weeks and two days it was hard but my docs are really great and they said to wait a couple of months just to make sure my body had went back to normal and so I had time to grieve.

Give your womb about three months to heal properly before you concieve again. It will make it stronger for the next time. I am so happy that you realize that God has a plan for everything and I hope you know you will see your baby again on the other side. In the mean time Good luck with the next child and I'll pray for you.

extremely not!!!!! Your cervix is open genuine now and there is to be NO bathing (a tub, swimming, warm tub) or soaking till it is closed or you run the prospect of an infection. you should permit nature take it is direction. it may take an afternoon or 2 for each thing to truly come out and the bleeding can final some week.

Since the woman's eggs are present from her birth, sometimes there is a bad egg. The DNA just won't make a complete baby and it is miscarried. There is no reason you can't have another healthy one. Good luck.
