sounds like a second degree chemical burn-very serious b/c you could become infected very quickly.

rinse your hands under cold water and apply NOTHING to them. wrap them in gauze wrap if you have it, otherwise use a clean washcloth and report to the emergency room.

you will need a special burn cream called silvadene-this is only available through a doctor. and they might also want to give you a quick dose of i.v. antibiotics to ward off infection.

ignoring this and not going to the emergency room can cause the chemicals from the battery to get into your bloodstream, causing widespread infection throughout your body which could result in hospitalization for several days to receive antibiotics to kill the infection. pls report to the emergency room asap

It's probably too late now, but I would have washed thoroughly with soap and water right after it happened. All you can do now is keep it clean and apply an antibiotic ointment. Cell phone batteries don't usually leak unless provoked somehow. What on earth did you do to cause it to leak? Were you being dumb and overcharged it or did you try to take it apart? Hmmm?

Rinse your hands carefully for 15 minutes. Don't use soap b/c it might hurt or sting. Then, get to the doctor right away. You need to get treated fast... How the heck can you type if your hands are all blistered?

Why did you leave it on you hands for so long are you slow?
Tell you what you do, do not touch the battery anymore and remember that the liquid coming out of the battery is bad..... Good Luck
