No, not really. My husband bought me a car for $200 and it ran and drove really good. And we had it for about 2 years now. Just make sure that when you buy whatever car you are looking for works properly and doesnt need all that much repairs done to it.

I dont know, huh..... well if you buy it and the more money you save up the more your car will look good. For instance if you save money so that you can buy new stereo get new seats etc.If all else fails write to the pimp my ride show : ) Seriously

theres no such thing as too cheap. i've paid as little as $200 for a car. but i think of a car as a tool to get me from point a to point b no more no less.

It depends what car it is and in what condition, I hope you don't buy crap and spend another $2,000 fixing it. My friend got a Nissan Pathfinder '97 for $1,000 works well.
Good luck!!!

If it is small and Japanese it should be cheap to fix.I would ask a mechanic to look at it.Nissan Sentra is a good used car.

Depends on
1.Make & Model
2.Year
3.Mileage
4.Maintenance records
If we have an answer for all these questions, we will be able to figure out something.
