Stike up the band and march them to your house to celebrate the loss of that amount of weight. Bring on the balloons and floats as that is a great achievement. Good for you!!!!!!! Was your question is it a lot to lose from now on or have you already lost it either way I say right on.

A friend of mine has lost 50% of her weight, for 150 pounds lost. Another has lost about 70 pounds now.

It's "a lot" to carry around, therefore it's "a lot" (two words!!!) to lose. But, it is doable.

1-2 pounds a week is what you can expect, so it will take 20-30 weeks (half a year) to get it all off. Then again, how long did it take to gain it?

37 lbs is not a lot to lose not when there are those who have over 200 to lose. Now if you only need 10 lbs to lose then someone would think 37 is a lot to lose. It all depends on peoples perception of what a lot is.

Yes, it is. Think about how much 37 pounds is. My friend of mine wanted to lose 40 pounds and went to the grocery store and asked the butcher for 40 pounds of fat. They gave it to her. She could hardly carry it. So, yes, it is a lot. It only takes 30 to be obese. Seriously, look it up.

It depends on how over-weight a person is. Just remember that the first few weeks of any diet one will see quick weight loss and eventually it will feel like it will take a small act from God to take off the rest.
