If there is still grease on top when it is fully cooked, just drain it off. I am sure it will turn out to be very yummy! Good luck to you!

I think it isn't necessary because the dog food will have everything the dog needs to be healthy. However, if you are thinking it is good for the dog's coat and skin, I believe the common wisdom that vets are saying today is the the Omega fish oil is the thing to use, not grease from meat. Still, I did a lot of research because my dog had allergies to beef and preservatives, and supposedly if a dog was eating an animal in the wild, all parts of it would be good for the dog. Bones, skin, fat and muscle. All of it. So I doubt if it would hurt the dog if you were talking about a tablespoon or so. What would be found in a normal serving size of meat for the dog.

Yes there will be grease. I always drain the grease off then return it to the oven and let it finish baking.

Most ground beef is greasy, go ahead and drain the grease off of it.

yes when u use beef it still contains alot of fat that is still continusly there unless for some reason its fat free so oil is natural and makes it still tasty fat gives it flavor just leave the oil and continue to cook then put it on a napkin for it to drain at the end

Blot it afterwards, but it won't kill you... there's the flavor. Next time use the lowest percentage of fat meat... big difference & line the bottom of the pan with sliced white bread (I think I learned that from Giada) and it'll soak up any additional fat.
