It is about 40 miles from lax to Disneyland. Depending on the time of day, it can take only one hour. But that is if you travel in the night (after 7:30pm). The traffic conditions will be really terrible during rush hour in the afternoon; then it will take around two hours.

I agree with the 33 miles, disagree with the person who says take the 15 (nowhere near Disneyland - may have meant the 5).
Suggest going south from LAX on almost any street (I usually use Sepulveda, but Airport or La Cienega are good too. The first freeway you come to is the 105 or the 405, either are good - go eastbound. If the traffic is bad on the 105, at the first southbound freeway, 110 or 710, take it south to the 91, east. Take the 91 to the 5 (Santa Ana Freeway) south, and get off at Disneyland Drive. Follow the signs and it will take you right to the Theme Park.
Have fun.

Traffic is horrible in this area and from the LAX airport it can take up to 2 - 2 1/2 hours and this is pretty much because of traffic. Anyone who says you can get there in 30 min is crazy and isn't right AT all. But again this really depends on the time of day you travel on how bad traffic will be for you.
If you are flying to LAX to go to Disney you will get a better ticket price, but the closest airport to Disney is Orange County. Tickets are more expensive here, but if you fly here then you are looking at more of a 20 min drive.
