My family grew up with a lot of emotion, giving hugs, saying I love you and things like that. Her family on the hand did not, they showed their feelings in other ways that I can't be placated with. What should I do?

She knows that this is the way things are, and she knows that she loves me and I love her.

You are the way you are and she is the way she is.If you feel like you can not connect with her,maybe she is not the right one for you.

You have to tell her some how, but for it to work you have to learn how to be patient and not hang on her words waiting to hear something affectionate while she is going to have to learn how to express herself more often. It's all about compromise.

If this is a real problem for you, you will find a girl who is warmer and more affectionate. Otherwise, you will be miserable.

show her love like you know how, if she rejects it then find another girl
