I was spreading some butter the other day, and i noticed little bubbles of water in it. This is apparent in most butter we get. Is this something that is done on purpose? and if so, why?

I have one thing to say to you: Cheap butter. Get a more expensive (preferably organic) brand, and the quality should be better. All you want in your butter is butter and possibly a bit of salt.

Water is mixed with butter fat to bulk it out and help in the forming process. It is a quite common and quite dubious way to mess with food. Try and search for another brand - probably more expensive - that is not interferred with

Never seen that myself. Do you mean butter or sunflower spread?
Maybe you've frozen it and the water has seperated from the milk solids in the process?

Blimey you need to buy a different brand.
You might get condensation ON the butter, but not IN the butter.
