I have a pit bull & when I try to give him a bath I have to use twice as much shampoo as the other dog. I used an old scrubbie to build up a lather. Anyone have any other suggestions in anything in pets?

I have always had dogs and trained there for quite awhile, also groomed.
I was at one of my friends homes and asked where my friends hubby was at. I was told he is in the bathroom giving the rotties a bath.
She then told me how he gets his shorts on and gets in the shower with the dog (one at a time) for more control. I had tried this and it sure helps out in giving a bigger dog a bath! I went a step further and bought a shower head that comes off and has different settings. This way I do not have to get in the tub unless there is a pooch who is refusing a bath lol!
Of course only one of the dogs will "let me" wash them. The other two (mastiff and a saint Bernard) only will allow me to wash them when I have the other in there with me or these two want a bath. They are rather big...... and very comical if they do not want a bath!!
This might help you?

Sounds strange- but it works! Get a plastic bottle - add water and some shampoo - shake it up.
This will make the shampoo spread easier and lather up quicker. The more you scrub - the more the lather.

Always use concentrated shampoo and a brush.
