I think people go to purgatory, or maybe this life is purgatory and we are being tested and prayed for right now....

Paul said in the Bible to be absent from the body (dead) is to be present with the lord.
do you really thing that the lord is in purgatory?

It depends on your religion. Catholics believe in Purgatory, only saints go directly to Heaven. Protestants (most, if not all) do not believe in Purgatory.

according to the bible,God (including the Father, Christ, and the Holy Spirit) is in heaven and reigns there. God's angels are also in heaven, and their purpose is to serve Him.
John 3:13 No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.
everyone that has died are still waiting in their graves for Christ return.when Christ returns, all those dead in Christ ( believers) will arise first, then ascend into heaven.

If you know the answer, why did you ask? You certainly got a lot of answers either saying you don't know what you're talking about, or agree with you. All I can say, is that no one has ever "come back" with an answer. If whatever YOU choose to believe is comforting, go for it. Nothing else really matters, does it?

let's send a test monkey or an animal that can sign back to us...
we can flat line 'em and then ask where Doggies or Monkeys go when they die

I don't believe in purgatory. When you die I believe you recieve you judgement before God, then you ho to Heaven or Hell. No in between.

They go to the grave and have a small test : 2 angeles ask him about his God and his Profet and his Religion and if he wins the battle his soul flies to Heaven otherwise his soul goes down of earth and be tortured in hell down there till the day of judjement.
