Healthy eating diet and exercise.
Try to cut down on saturated fat as they are the worse - limit them to 3g.
Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Good Luck.

Forget all the fancy diets. Eat a balanced diet of around 1400 calories a day and do some exercise. You will lose weigh. My daughter just started her diet and she weighs all her food so that she knows how many calories she is having according to the calory book and she lost 5 pounds in the first week.

Weight Watchers - it works and you don't have to buy pre-packaged food.
What happens when you go off thos pre-packaged food diets and have to start eating regular food? You gain the weight back of course because you didn't learn anything about obtaining good eating habits.

Try Weight Watchers if you haven't already. If you use the flex plan you can eat what you want as long as you stay within your points.
WW is an easy program that allows you to eat more than salad and starve yourself to death.
Of course any program works better with exercise.
Good Luck!

Keep a journal of everything you eat. Everything. Record what time you ate it and how you felt when you ate it. Most people don't eat because they're hungry. They eat because they're bored, nervous, scared, anxious or whatever. Find out what prompts You to eat. Weigh yourself no more than once a day at the same time every day. Change your lifestyle if you want to keep it off for good.

Eat your protein first (meat, cheese, eggs, etc), it stops your body producing as much sugar - which turns to fat! Try carrying around a bag of almonds and eating 4 or 5 before your meal.
