I was raised to belive in God, and I still do. What is His plan though...why do people have to die such violent deaths?
And many of these are good people too. I don't get it.
Can someone enlighten me please? Thanks.

The Bible says that Satan is the god of this world. God made Adam in the Garden of Eden. God created everything to be perfect. When Adam sinned he turned the world over to Satan. Sin and evil came into the world. The Bible says Satan has come to kill steal and destroy. That is why their is so much evil, wars, and death. The Bible talks about living in perilous times in the last days. God sent Jesus into the world to pay the price of sin to set us free from the powers of Satan. God is not the author of evil. Satan is. God is good all the time and is full of love for all of his children. Satan knows his time is short and is causing all the trouble he can before Jesus returns to get all those who believe in him and have accepted him as Lord and Savior. Then God will make a new Heaven and a new Earth and we will all live as God intended from the beginning before Adam sinned.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. John 14:1

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains matt.24:6-8

This is the beginning of the birth pains, as we know, birth pains come on faster and faster as the birth process continues, we therefore can expect that there will be no peace till the time we are taken out of the world.

Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33Even so, WHEN YOU SEE ALL THESE THINGS, YOU KNOW THAT IT IS NEAR, RIGHT AT THE DOOR. 34I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. matt 24:32-35

See, we are in the season, the twigs are getting tender, summer is near, the season is upon us. rather than fuss over all that is bad, look up, your redemtion draws nigh.

Jesus said in the word
In the last days evil shall get worse and worse, there will be more war, more killing.
So right now, your job is to be seeing all the stuff, Jesus tells us about it and explains, Satan is gaining ground. More people are praying to Satan, then to God is some areas. Which gives him power.
Do you remember the movie Henry Potter?
That's when the little potter was loosed from Hell,
Lots of things in Satan's world, here on Earth changed.
do your home work. Check out the rise in the people who talk to dogs, ghost, dead people. And check out the growth in true powers of darkness upon the wizards, and magic acts.
God is the Potter.
He molds us into the likeness of his Son.
If I could take you to Pakistan, or Israel, you and I would be killed just for believing in God right now.
Some are being dis membered. Satan is trying to clean the earth of Godly people. God is just waiting for his perfect time to clean the earth of him.
Trust in God, watch your step, be careful, Satan wants to take you out, before you know who you are in Christ.
This stuff is going to happen till Christ comes.
Just be ready when he does.

War isn't God's fault. It's Satan's.
Major global war and several other things are a sign we are living in the last days of Satan's system of things .
Soon the Kingdom of God will be ushered in over the earth and war will be gone

Dear Sylvasta,

God did not make man to sin, rebel against God. Man chose to rebel against God in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3). After this "fall" man came under the dominion of satan and sin. Sin is now part of every human beings nature. Man is sinful from conception. Read Psalms 58:1-3 or Psalms 51:5. You do not have to teach a baby how to sin, it is part of their makeup or nature. Just like a duck quacks, man sins! Mankind is the reason for hatred, jealousy, murder, sexual sin, cheating, deception, ware, etc. And if man does not find someone to pay for his sins, then he will have to got to hell for eternity to pay for them.
Christ came to this earth to be the "substitute" or stand-in for some of these wretched sinners. The Lord Jesus did not pay for the sins of the whole world because if He did, then no one could be sentenced to hell. (Rejecting Christ is a sin just like stealing). Many Bible teachers and pastors have taught a false gospel saying that all you have to do is accept Jesus into your heart. But God says "There is none that seeketh after God, no, not one." He also tells us that we are ALL spirtually DEAD in sins and trespasses (Ephesians 2:1-3). The Lord in His great mercy and compassion determined that He would save some of these rebels out of the mass of humanity. If someone is to be saved, God had to choose him, pay for his sins, and then do the miracle of regeneration on that dead sinner. We play no role in it at all. Read Romans 9. God chose Jacob and hated Esau before they were even born (Romans 9:13). The best thing one can do if they are not saved is to keep reading the Bible and praying for mercy because God is very merciful. This does not guarantee that you will be saved but you will be in the right environment if God has elected you to salvation. "So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Faith is a synonym for the Lord Jesus Christ.

God has prophesized the wars in the bible. It is one of the signs of the end of times that we are now living in.

Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

if god stop all the war and evil in the world then he would be imposing on man's right to free will. And satan may play a part in it all but man still has the right to chose right from wrong satan cant make man do evil only suggest it.

Being subjected to violence for some people is like to a small child learning that the cooker is hot and should not be touched. Neither believe in the advice, before they experience it on their own skin, so to speak.

Please, do not doubt God, he knows what he is doing.

God's plan is explained in logical terms in "Rational Spirituality" on the Dhaxem website, should you be interested in the details.

For the first poster "Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done." -- Mark 13:30

Is anyone still alive that heard this speech? Looks like the book of mark is false. Not a good place to start quoting

its all in God's plan. He has already set a time for men to die, and that is their time. (Heb. 9:27) its okay that they are good people. but everyone does have to die eventually!
