Yes. I have had a death experience where I died as the result of a very serious (fatal of course) stroke. My soul was torn from my body (probably the most paintful thing we will ever experience) and I was taken by two angels down a long tunnel with a light at the end. We did not go to the end, however. I was instead taken to Purgatory where I saw the souls of many of my relations and ancestors. They were mournful and pleading for prayers. It was sad. But while there my grandmother appeared to me. She came from Heaven and had a glorified body. She was beautiful and resplendant. She told me that I could not stay here because it was not my time to die. I had not fulfilled my mission in life yet and must go back. And so the angels came back for me and traveled back down the tunnel. My soul was thrown back into my body with such a force that my body bounced above the mattress of my bed. When my heart started to beat again it was with such a force that it was actually painful.

You live, learn and create your life, just like here. There are many dimensions of activity other than physical reality. When you leave this system you will find yourself in another system with it's own laws and root assumptions. You will always be operating from a form known as self and you will always possess feelings, memory and free will. You not spend eternity in mindless adoration of some god.I offer no hope for the lazy, you will still have challenges to overcome and knowledge to be gained.

I am catholic and when I go to the after life I hope I have a cabin on the lake, this is a stupid answer to a stupid question, we can believe what ever we want to but it wont be true, any thing after death is pure speculation.

I am not athiest but I don't participate in organized religion. Albert Einstein said that energy never goes away or dies. All humans have energy/energy fields so even when they die the energy has to go somwhere.

If you take a cup of tea and take a spoonful of tea out, that is you. Now put the tea back in the cup. can you find you in the cup? Well that is the afterlife. The tea is God and when we come down here we are the spoonful of tea. When we die we just go back to being a part of God. I don't have a religion. Don't need one. I am God.

I am muslim k. I belive in it because it was said in all the books including Quran, Torah, and the Bible. But the torah and bible (to my religon )was changed. In the afterlife which to me is called the day of Judgement, God will come to you and will ask you everything you did. If you lie to him your body parts will tell the truth.

i believe that at the point of death we are met by our family and loved ones and spirit guardians
we are taken to the level of spirit that we have achieved by our spiritual development in this life
i believe that any level of spirit can be progressed from and one day we join back with the God energy where we came from
from that energy new souls are born ... like the sun giving off solar flares
spiritualism xx
