Thats because you are not doing something you enjoy. You need to find easy ways to incorporate exercise in your life.
Try getting a pedometer (one of those things that measures your footsteps) and try to do 10000 steps a day. Even if you do no other exercise this should keep you healthy and its not that difficult todo.
Start off measuring your steps for the first day and if it is less than 10000 try to increase it by 250 steps a day -
This can be little things
take the stairs not the lift.
Park the car a little further away from work - or walk more of the way if it is possible. Take a half hour walk at lunch time.
You will find lots of little ways to keep a little bit more active and it will all add up.
Also if you hate tyhe exercise do something like yoga or pilates that are relaxing and fun and tone you up in a gentle (but seriously effective way.
You should choose something that you enjoy doing.
If you like team games do something like soft ball or soccer or aerobics.
Play tennis or badminton or swim with your friends once a week make it a social occasion.
IF you hate the exercise or gym it will feel like a punishment and you won;t stick at it.
You need to find what you enjoy and if you don't like it change it.
A good exercise will give you more energy, help you sleep better and make you feel good in itself.
I love pilates and would thoroughly recommend it.

If you think about it, you exercise everyday without knowing it. But to start off, park your car further than you usually do at work or whenever shopping, if you are watching t.v, get up and stretch during the commericals, it actually burns alot of calories, or play a sport you love to do. Find a local indoor swimming pool, even if you just play around in it you will loose a bunch of weight. I started weight watches in July, and I swam around and just had fun and I lost 6lbs in a week just by doing the things you do normally everyday. Also, always take the stairs instead of the elevator, and sometimes, "accidently" leave something upstairs, so that way you have to go back up to get them.

I do not believe that anyone can give you words of wisdom, only you can speak them to yourself for you to hear them. I lost over a stone and a half and have now put all that back on. I have been trying to diet again myself and even tried the Kelloggs diet but only stuck to that for a week rather than the recommended two!
However, for some reason I have just started Weight Watchers at home, I didn't think about it, I just went and done it and I am now doing really well.
So only you can tell when you are ready to say to yourself....I hate myself in and out of clothes, Christmas is just around the corner, so do something about your weight and be happy!!!!

Congratulations on losing so much weight! You've done a great job so far. I find that having an exercise buddy helps alot. I hate to exercise by myself. I enjoy having that person to lean on for moral support. You may be bored with your exercise routine. Try to find another form of exercise that is more fun for you. Maybe walking or riding a bicycle or join an orgainzed sport. Good Luck!

Start off by trying to add exercise into your daily routine like, walking to work or getting off the bus a couple of stops early.
What gets me motivated to go to the gym is thinking of how good you feel after a workout you can't better than that post workout endorphine release!

Start small so its not a bunch of suffering. Try a fun version of exercise if possible, like tennis, biking on bike trails, etc. Avoid treadmills and other torture devices. Get a workout buddy, and read books and magazines about health, nutrition, and exercise.

Try listening to music or watching TV to get you motivated. Maybe you could exercise when a certian show is on. That's what I used to do. I also am more motivated walking or running outside than on a treadmill.

My motivation to keep fit is that I'm always out on the boat in a bathing suit.
You have to plan out your day to include a few minutes, and force yourself to eat right. Drink alot of water throughout the day, and especially drink a glass right before you eat something.

Do you have a friend you could exercise with? It's harder to miss work-out if you have promised to a friend. Or make a schedule that includes work-out in most covinient time for you, so you have less excuses not to. Good luck!!
