Do you remember when Google had a disclaimer that came up if you put in a search which included the word "Jew"? Because of the way Google automatically prioritizes sites, the neo-Nazi and holocaust denial sites (which link to each other), took over the first dozen pages. It was so bad that Google recommended using "Jewish" or "Judaism" if you wanted to do any real research on the religion and people.
Given the remarkable lack of racial ephithets, spam and pornography on Y-A, they must have good filters to catch these things before they get out onto the forums. Perhaps your questions are just going through a filter/review process.
