The Banrock Station Sparkling Shiraz will go great with your turkey!! I suggest you use plenty of herbs and pepper in the stuffing and the gravy to compliment the wine. Green beans would be good, red cabbage would be better, mushrooms in garlic would be fantastic!

"Dark red in appearance with an inky core, typical Shiraz smell (only with bubbles up the nose!). Rich in forest fruits. Good length."

I think it was a great recommendation from your sommelier friend to be adventurous and try a sparkling shiraz.

I think it will be an interesting wine to have with the Turkey because it is a sparkling wine. Shiraz in itself will go well with turkey in itself but this one will be lighter and more effervescent than a regular Shiraz because it is a sparkling wine.

I'm probably answering this too late since it's almost 11pm where I am but I hope you tried the Sparkling Shiraz because I think it will be a refreshing change for your regular turkey dinner.

The Shiraz will do just fine. It is an acceptable table wine with a fruity taste. It's a little lighter than the rReislings and less of an aftertaste.
You did good with that one.
Bon Apetite.

Any rose will do fine. Choose what you like. Even the so-called experts disagree with each other.
