The best player to play any time of file is the VLC media player. It plays anything and everything you ask it to. :)

If you have windows media player and it isn't playing them go into the tools menu at the top of the player,choose options,then hit the tab that says file types and make sure that avi is checked.

sometimes you need special codecs to watch some avi files. do a search on google and search for " video codecs " or codec packs that come bundles with major codecs that support a lot of video files. make sure the website you goto is legit, so you won't get virus'

Windows Media Player plays .AVI files. If it doesn't work though, try AlShow.

You must download the .avi video file off the internet, make sure if you have a P.C. download the P.C. compatable file, if you have a Macintosh download the Mac compatable file.

windows media player should work .. but if not you can download kazaa lite codec mega pack .. then you shouldn't have any troubles watching anything = ) http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/mirror.htm
