You can slice the cabbage real thin and cut the onion into trianle shapes (narrow). Then get some chow mein noodles. Take about a 1/3 cup of oil and heat up oil. Throw in mix of onions and cabbage and stir fry for 20 or so seconds on high. Take out veggies, leaving oil in pan. Add chowmein noodles and cook until they are hot, in the oil. Then add the veggies and mix well with noodles. Put in a shot of red wine vineager, mix well. Yum. You can add bean sprouts too but they have to be cooked well. Also to keep it from drying out, add a little salad oil and rapidly mix in (do not cook it long, just mix in over heat).

Well, my grandmother used to make delicious boiled cabbage. ?She would add a large chopped onion, a whole chopped cabbage, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 stick of butter, salt and pepper to taste to a pot with just enough water to cover the cabbage until done. I love my cabbage cooked this way!
