The true Sabbath is Saturday, and I do believe it.

Christ rose the day after the Sabbath and that is why Christians celebrate His Resurrection on Sunday. I by virtue of my faith do not reject the Sabbath but it was made for man and was to be upheld as part of the law to redeem oneself, Christ fulfilled the law and is Lord of the Sabbath therefore rest in Him is the Sabbath and can be set aside whenever one dedicates so, be it any day of a week or even month.

To die for the definition of a certain day of the week, after knowing that calenders have changed and interpretations differ. For all we know, the sabbath could now be Wednesday. But, the Sabbath was given to give us a break.....some would be required to work 7 days a week, if not for that. But, to be truthful, Adventists would let presbyterians use their church on Sundays.....don't think there is too much of a war

What a daft question. Die for such a simple thing. Is there some lateral thinking about this question - are we supposed to read between the lines................. The Jewish community have the Sabbath on a Saturday, The Catholics on a Sunday. What difference does it make provided we keep one day a week holy.

the sabbath IS Saturday..... for those under Jewish Law. That is what sabath means the seventh day. It does not however have anything to do with church meeting on Sunday, this was started by the apostles meeting on the first day of the week.

I would not be willing to doe because of it because I am under grace, not the law.

The Sabbath had changed from the time of Jesus till now. If Jesus was to be entombed for three days and three nights his death would be on a Thurs. and Resurrection on Sun. Making Mon. the first day of the week. Thurs night. Fri morn. Fri night. Sat morn. Sat night. Sun morn. Thursday was the Sabbath day back then. Now, it is Saturday. It would be an honor to suffer for him who first suffered for me.
