FSM theory of creation and intelligent design posits that the universe was created in its current form by the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It further stipulates that all things that appear to disprove the FSM theory have actually been manipulated by the FSM to debunk scientific efforts to disprove His existence.

Being touched by FSM's noodley appendages is a blessing, as FSM is a loving, caring Creator.

Global warming and pirate population have an positive inverse relationship. As the pirate population has decreased, global temperatures have increased. Apparently pirates were held in high favor by FSM.

The FSM is the only "true"religion out there. There is proof. It is all writen down. I have read it and since its there, in black and white, it must be true. LOL

It was actually done as satire and parody of all religions. Mainly to fight against Creation being taught in schools alongside evolution.
It was meant to prove that if you are going to teach Creation in schools then EVERY religios theory must be taught. Not just the major one. Islam, Buddism, Christianity, FSM, Wicca, Judeaism, Confusionism, and every other religion muist be taught alongside evolution.
Can you imagine Jerry Falwell or Pat Robertson's reaction if all of a sudden the Kansas schoolboard decided to teach ALL these religions creation theorys? These guys would hit the damn roof. Islam being taught in our schools? It would be the most outragous thing they have ever heard. They would fight it with everything they have. But yet, thats exactly what they want. Cristian Creation, is what they want taught. Not all creation theorys. Thats what the FSM is about. It shows that teaching Creation in schools would hurt more than help. I hope this is what you were looking for.

FSM was created in response to the "creation" theory being taught along side evolution in school. FSM successfully demonstrated how preposterous it was to teach creation because there are many different creation theories that could be taught:

For example all of these are creationists too:

Followers of Ra, The sun god
Hindus
Muslims
Raliens (believe space aliens created us)

The creation science movement was nothing more than the christian right's attempt at hijacking our public school systems to further their agenda. They are so stupid that they assumed THEY owned the creation story. If you let their story be taught, you must let EVERYONE'S Story be taught.

Read the website I listed below for more....

btw: Evolution is a theory, but so is a "round earth", so is the "theory" that the earth revolves around the sun....

Flying Spaghetti Monster is a GOD!
And yes, many have been touched by his noodley appendage! As far as the pirates, he is as old as the sea, so we Pirates pray to him for safe voyage.Ho ho ho and a bottle of rum!

It is satire. It is meant to point out how ridicules religions are. The fact that you and several others took it as a serious religion, makes the case.
