No. I recall the limited warranty only applies to the unit itself and not the headphones.
However, I know Apple has this "one time only exchange", where you can exchange up to one time for a product. You may be able to exchange your broken ones for a new set.

It relies upon on the guy you get on the telephone and how beneficial they are feeling. Apple many times has truly solid help. i could provide it a attempt. basically because of the fact your guarantee expired does no longer recommend you will no longer get it. Worse case scenario, they inform you your guarantee expired and that they won't do it.
