if you have BB or a fair downlioad speed of some sort, then go to google and search for torrent spy, plenty sowftware about...
and all free if you get a client and look.

There is a good software that comes free with lots of PCs called Microsoft Movie Maker - You can edit video, audio or both together!
Free, easy-to-use and already on your PC (maybe!)
It also has some good transitions and video effects on their!
Check your Start menu or program list!

Go to Download.com and download Bit torrent and do a search. Roxio easy media Creator 9 is good for audio - haven't tried video yet - except slide shows with music.

Jahshaka is open source and highly regarded by those in the know; how easy it is to use, I have no idea but at least it's free
