In all respect, any relationship should be based from the heart and not the looks.
A lady can look beautiful, but if she doesn't have the right personality or spirit or heart, then looks really don't matter anyway.

Different guys are attracted to different types of girls so it's not as if they all want all of us to look the same. They are also visual creatures, they will go for the first thing to catch their eye. Fortunately some also try to see what the personality is like that goes with it soon after. The way people look is the first thing that catches someones attention, that's just how the world is.

I wanted to know the reason too, but I guess most of them who think that way are kinda traditional, you know, the usual perfect woman for them would be : slim, long hair and the list goes on...Though relationship is a two way thing, and i think occasionally accommating your guy's taste is fair enough, but unfortunately from what I saw, their taste are usually more or less the same...I think a true guy should really see the beauty that suits his gf, and not just suit his own taste.

That is only for some guys. A guy should love you for how you are and not ask you to change or dress a certain way.

Because we don't care what other guys look like, unless we are gay...
But I think you were asking why do we care about what our woman looks like, it's because we men are stimulated by sight. When you say for example grow your hair long because we love long hair, it turns us on. It's a turn on because you look good and it's a turn on that you'd do just for us.
